Orthopedic and sports physical therapy for people who want more than a generic protocol. Every visit is one-on-one, built around your goals, and designed to give you a clear path forward.
Your visit starts with the full story: what happened, what you feel, what you have already tried, and what you need to return to.
The examination is then used to build a working clinical impression, identify what is likely contributing to the problem, and determine what is actually worth changing.
You should leave understanding what was found, what it means, what can be done about it, and what the next step is.
And if physical therapy is not what you need, you will be told that too.
Shoulder, knee, hip, spine, foot and ankle problems.
Return to running, lifting, field sports and demanding recreational activity.
Progressive rehabilitation that does not stop at basic function.
For people who have tried rest, medication, generic exercise or prior rehabilitation without getting where they want to be.
Bridge the gap between being “cleared” and being truly ready.
A detailed musculoskeletal evaluation when you want another clinical perspective and a clearer plan.
No simultaneous appointments or conveyor-belt care.
Your care is delivered directly by your physical therapist.
Know what matters and what happens next.
Funke Kinetics is designed as a low-volume private-pay practice. Recommendations are based on what you need—not on filling a weekly schedule.
No predetermined visit frequency. Recommendations are based on what you need—not how often we can schedule you.
Isaac Funke is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with experience across outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, inpatient hospital care, neurologic rehabilitation, post-operative care, and medically complex patient populations.
In addition to clinical practice, he teaches anatomy and physiology as an adjunct instructor and serves as an EMT, experiences that reinforce a broad understanding of movement, pathology, clinical decision-making, and patient communication.
Funke Kinetics was created for patients who value understanding their condition, participating in the process, and working toward more than simply becoming “less painful.”
The goal is simple: examine carefully, communicate clearly, intervene intelligently, and help you return to the activities that matter.
Yes. Funke Kinetics provides one-on-one orthopedic and sports physical therapy, with an emphasis on individualized evaluation, rehabilitation, and return to activity.
No. “Performance” means getting back to what matters to you—whether that is competitive sport, lifting, running, work, recreation, or simply moving confidently.
The private-pay model is designed to keep visits one-on-one, transparent, and centered on clinical need rather than visit volume or insurance authorization. Pricing is published up front: $200 for the initial evaluation and $175 for follow-up visits.
Your initial visit includes a detailed history, physical examination, explanation of findings, treatment when appropriate, and a clear plan for next steps.
There is no preset visit frequency. Recommendations are based on your presentation, goals, response to care, and ability to work independently between visits.
You will be told. When the clinical picture suggests that another healthcare professional or additional medical evaluation is more appropriate, that recommendation will be discussed with you.
